The Wolfville and Area Food Bank is a volunteer organization that is committed to providing emergency food relief to individuals and families in the area. Janice and Marlene Biggs, from Biggs Farms, have been longstanding volunteers at the food bank, logging countless hours shopping, stocking shelves, and packing food with other community volunteers.
It’s no surprise that this mother-daughter duo had secured the assistance of the Egg Farmers Give Back program for multiple years. In 2022 they coordinated a donation of laundry soap to every client (typically 150 families) for a month, along with additional food items, and lots of egg swag!
